Plan Description
This is a new plan that is close to the McPherson II. The differences are we have taken out the half bath and expanded the laundry room to give expanded cabinet and countertop space. You'll also have a bench with cubbies and closet inside the laundry.
The kitchen is expanded to enlarge the island. An optional smaller island is shown. You can of course add your own island to any plan, larger, smaller with the exact layout you choose. The kitchen island is much larger with built ins. You'll have two 24" drawers of spice racks, a cutlery drawer with built in and 30" silverware drawer designed in to the plan. You'll also have a cleaning supply pull out, a cookie sheet pull out and a utensil pull out. The window in the kitchen is enlarged to take advantage of your view and be an awning window you can keep open in the rain. There is storage added to the end of where your fridge goes for a bonus pantry space.
A nice sized walk-in pantry is adjacent to the kitchen. The coffee bar area is large with a cabinet space underneath for a mini fridge, wine cooler etc with an electrical plug behind it. Don't want a small fridge there? Use the space as a built in pet feeding area below for their bowls.
The Bedrooms will all have a new shelving detail so there are double poles, single pole and built in shelves in bedroom #2 and #3's closets. Bath #1 has a linen added unlike the original McPherson smaller plan.
The master bathroom shows an onyx shower though you can choose to have a standard one (shown as an option) or a tiled shower. You get two closets in your master one will be a walk-in. You can choose to have a double sink vanity though one sink is shown. You'll have a linen closet in this master bathroom.
The plan is from house 6118 (for sale in Clay Center, KS as of March 2025) which has disk lighting throughout your home, including in the smaller closets. As well as an extra outlet in the laundry and one in the broom closet for vacuum cleaners.
