Plan Description
This plan has 39 more sq ft than the McPherson. This space was used to add a 18" linen cabinet to bath #1 and make bedrooms #2 and #3 larger by 2' each. The master walk-in closet was expanded eliminating some of the bonus cabinets the McPherson has. This plan makes that area more of a coffee bar or bar area with a built in space for a beverage fridge/wine fridge. Don't need a small fridge? Use that area as a pet food feeding space dedicated to bowls. Or you can fill that space in with cabinets.
The island drawn in the plan has a 3 stack of drawers on either side of a 21" space for trash/recycling cans. You can make this space larger by adding more cabinets on the back, striking the dining area (see the McPherson III for a large island with lots of extra storage and a cabinet on the other side of he refrigerator).
Keep in mind you can design your closets the way you like. With a single pole, double pole, shelves etc. Think about adding a disk light to your closets. Do you want a bay window or would you prefer a larger window over the kitchen sink? Would you like your sink in your island? Would you prefer a range hood or to add a microwave drawer to your island?
As with all of our plans you can switch the standard shower to a tiled shower or Onyx shower. You can choose to add a double sink vanity or single. Consider if you like cubbies in your laundry area or more cabinetry. Consider adding an outlet to your hall closet to charge your vacuum.
Remember the exterior to your home can look any way you like. You can decide on how many garages you want and the style of porch or no garages. Consider adding soffit lighting on a dimmer.
